Bountiful Results

My name is John. I am what I call a lifetime learner. I was always in search of the next best way of accomplishing something. I have read so many self help books that I lost count years ago. I have learned, that there is not one best answer.  The search does continue for advice that best fits my situation and my unique personality.  I believe that we are not lacking in information to help us be more motivated or more successful,  it is that we have lost sight of the fundamentals of achieving bountiful results.

I am going to back up a few steps for a minute. I grew up on a farm in the southeastern part of Ohio.  As I reflect back on it, life on the farm was hard work and also very rewarding.  There is little instant gratification on the farm and you will see that one of my pet peeves is a notion that is gaining in popularity – Instant Success, Instant Wealth, and Instant Popularity. Most lasting results will come with planned, persistent efforts over time.  You cannot plant a bean seed today and pick beans tomorrow.  There is a process – there are necessary steps in between.  Achieving or getting results as I like to call it, is so very similar to growing vegetables.

I hope to share with all that are interested, the ah-ha moments that I have had over the years.  I will also share some of the great advice that I have found through the works of others.
